My name is Lourdes. Born and raised in Cuba, I am a Spanish native speaker and an overseas teacher. I am a linguist, with a Master of Arts in Linguistics with focus on Arabic, Russian and English languages. I also have teaching qualifications in the UK, PTLLS, EDEXCEL, level 4. I have more than ten years experience preparing students at all levels.

I have been providing language tuition in Somerset for more than ten years to individuals, independent schools, companies and government organisations, as well as community interpretation.

Whilst English was compulsory in the early years of my education, I also studied Russian in my free time and it was through this that I was able to learn my fourth and most fascinating language: Arabic. I was fortunate enough to spend 1 year at the University of Cairo doing my language training.

Language training for complete beginners, advanced students, GCSE and A Level students, and MFL teachers whose first language is English. I also offer targeted Spanish tutoring for businesses.
